Kathryn and Douglas were married in Stornoway at the end of April, on what, despite the horrible forecast, was a bright and dry day. After the ceremony, and some family and group photographs outside the church, we went to Cuddy Point for some bridal party and couple photographs with Stornoway harbour as a background.
Then it was off to Breasclete Community Hall for the reception and dance. Starting with some genuinely funny speeches from the father of the bride, best men (there were two!) and the groom, a great dinner, and music from the band.
The community centre were also celebrating, as it was the 50th wedding held in the hall, so we got the wedding party and all the staff together for a group photograph before the dancing started. I snook away after the first few dances and left everyone to the partying!
